This is an entry-level program that is designed to teach you the skills to become a competent and responsible scuba diver. We want you to love diving as much as we do so our goal is to provide the highest degree of educational training and personal attention that you need to feel comfortable and confident. No prior experience is required, just a sense of adventure and a desire to have a lot of fun!

HERE'S HOW IT WORKS
The Open-Water SCUBA certification program is completed in just 3 easy steps:

1. Academic Sessions- You will learn dive theory such as what equipment makes up the Total Dive System and how to properly plan a safe dive to visit an underwater reef system or shipwreck! These are available either in a structured class environment or even online.

2. Pool Sessions- In a confined-water area, you will learn basic SCUBA skills to include how to put together your SCUBA unit or how to talk to your dive buddy with specialized hand signals. This can be done comfortably in our indoor heated pool or even in your own pool at home.

3. Open Water Fun Dives- Once you have mastered the pool, you will have 2 sessions of diving in either a fresh-water spring, river or salt-water location.

CUSTOM DIVE LESSONS

Class size is limited to only 10 divers, with the average class being 6-8. The advantages of group classes are cost-effectiveness and the possibility of meeting new friends and networking opportunities. Group lessons are offered every month at pre-arranged dates.

This is a hybrid of the group and private lessons. The class and pool sessions will be customized to your schedule, and you will join a group class to complete your open water dives at pre-set dates.

PRIVATE LESSONS

If you prefer learning one-on-one, private lessons are just for you! All of the class, pool, and dive sessions are personalized to fit your schedule with your own instructor.

SCUBA REFERRAL COURSE

This is a very popular option with many new divers from colder climates. You can do all your classroom time back home at your convenience with your local dive shop. Then, instead of donning the hoods and gloves and doing your open water dives in freezing, near-zero visibility water, you can enjoy the balmy warm water of our crystal-clear 72 degree year around Florida rivers and Caverns.
